From being shaped by the streets of Philadelphia to becoming a successful serial entrepreneur, Marcel’s journey is far from the typical path to success. At just 15 years old, he discovered his father and grandmother discussing the details of his life insurance policy, convinced he would not live past the age of 21. The realization of their actions left him stunned, grappling with the painful truth that his family had effectively written him off before his life had truly begun.

Refusing to succumb to the negative assumptions about his future, he resolved to use those misconceptions as fuel for his ambitions. Determined to redefine what it meant to live a long and prosperous life, he took his fate into his own hands and committed himself to success.

A self-described honor student of the streets, he transformed the leadership, sales, marketing, strategic thinking, and risk management skills he honed there into academic and professional accomplishments. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Strayer University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Communications from Bowie State University.

Today, his portfolio includes real estate development, commercial cleaning enterprises, investments in the stock market and cryptocurrency, and various other joint ventures. Hiding in Plain View is his first book.
